हिंदी में : मेहमान भगवान होता है।In English : Guest is God
Note : Perhaps India is the only culture where Guest are given status of God, because Indians believe that God can come in any form to you, disguised as guest even. So, if we treat our guest as God, we will not miss a chance to serve our God, even by mistake.
वसुधैव कुटुंबकम
हिंदी में : सारा संसार एक परिवार है।In English : Whole world is one family.
Note : Perhaps India is the only culture where it is said that whole world is one family.
अहिंसा परमो धर्मः
हिंदी में : अहिंसा परम धर्म है।In English : Non Violence is the highest religion (duty).
Note : This is the only reason why Indian culture never invaded any other culture by force as we believe in non violence. Also this is the reason why still a sizable population of India is vegetarian as they see non vegetarian as violence towards poor animals.

हिंदी में : जहाँ स्त्रियों की पूजा होती है वहाँ देवता निवास करते हैं।In English : God live there, where women are worshiped.
Note : India is the only culture where feminine power (Goddess) is worshiped.
जाकि रही भावना जैसी प्रभु मूरत देखि तिन वैसी।
हिंदी में : जो भगवान के प्रति जैसी भावना (भाव) रखता है , भगवान की मूर्ति (शक्ल - सूरत) उसे उसी प्रकार की दिखाई देती है।In English : You will see the God's image similar to the feeling in you regarding him.
Note : This is the beauty of Hinduism which allows everyone to visualize and follow his own God and his own path towards salvation.This might be the reason why Hinduism has so many Gods and so many ways of worship.

जननी जन्मभूमि च स्वर्गात अपि गरीयसी
हिंदी में : माता और मातृ भूमि स्वर्ग से भी महान है।Note : Mother and Mother Land are greater than heaven.
गुरु गोविन्द दोउ खड़े काके लागू पाय ,
बलिहारी गुरु आपने गोविन्द दियो मिलाय।
हिंदी में : यदि गुरु और भगवान दोनों मेरे सामने आ जाएं तो मैं किसके पैर छुऊं। धन्यवाद गुरु आपको कि आपने भगवान से मिला दिया। (इसीलिए गुरु के पैर भगवान से पहले छूने चाहिए।In English : If I get to meet my teacher and god together, whom should I salute first. Definitely to the teacher because it is because of teacher, I could meet God.
Note : This shows that in Indian culture even the teacher which lead us to the God is is given more importance than the God.
त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव , त्वमेव बंधु च सखा त्वमेव ,
त्वमेव विद्या च द्रविणं त्वमेव , त्वमेव सर्वम मम देव देव।
हिंदी में : (भगवान), आप ही मेरी माता हो और आप ही मेरे पिता हो , आप ही मेरे रिश्तेदार हो और आप ही मेरे मित्र हो , आप ही विद्या हो और आप ही मेरी धन संपत्ति हो , हे देव तुम ही मेरे सब कुछ हो।In English : You are my mother and you are my father, you are my relative and you are my friend, you are my knowledge and you are my wealth, O god you are my everything.
Note : This shows the complete devotion towards the God.

समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले,
विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्वमे।
हिंदी में : समुंद्र जिसका वस्त्र है, पर्वत जिसके स्तन हैं , विष्णुपत्नी (धरती माँ) को मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ और पैर से छूने के लिए माफी मांगता हूँ ।
In English : Ocean is whose dress, mountains are whose bosom, I pray to Lord Vishnu's wife , this mother earth and say sorry before touching her with my feet.
Note : These are beautiful lines where we say sorry to the mother earth before stepping on to it in the very morning every day.
मातृवत पर दारेषु , पर द्रवेषु लोष्ठ्वात,
आत्मवत सर्वभूतेषु , यः पश्यति सः पंडितः।
हिंदी में : दूसरे की स्त्री को माता के समान , दुसरे के धन को मिट्टी के समान, सभी प्राणियों को अपने समान जो देखता है वही पंडित है।
In English : He who see is other's ladies as mother, other's money as dust, all humans like himself is scholar.
Note : This stanza tells to respect all women, everyone's money and every other human being.

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः,
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद् दुःख भाग्भवेत्।
हिंदी में : सभी सुखी हों, सभी रोगमुक्त रहें, सभी का जीवन मंगलमय बनें और कोई भी दुःख का भागी न बने।In English : All should be happy, all should be free from diseases, all's life should be prosperous and nobody should get any sorrow.
Note : In this shloka prayer is done for benefit of entire life on the planet.

स्वदेशे पूज्यते राजा विद्वान सर्वत्र पूज्यते।
हिंदी में : राजा की पूजा अपने देश में ही होती है , जबकि विद्वान की पूजा सभी जगह होती है।In English : King is worshiped is its own country, scholar is worshiped everywhere.
Explanation : In these line importance of education (not bookish but being being scholar) is shown where a scholar is given more importance than a king.

पृथिवी शान्तिरापः शान्तिरोषधयः शान्तिः ।
वनस्पतयः शान्तिर्विश्वेदेवाः शान्तिर्ब्रह्म शान्तिः

ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
हिंदी में : ओम,आसमान में शांति हो , अंतरिक्ष में शांति हो, पृथ्वी पर शांति हो , जल में शांति हो , औषधियो में शांति हो, पेड़ पौधों में शांति हु , विश्व के सभी देवताओं में शांति हो , परब्रह्म में शांति हो , सभी जगह शांति ही शांति हो , ओम शांति शांति शांति।In English : Om, peace be in sky, peace be in space, peace be on earth, peace be on water, peace be in medicinal herbs, peace be in trees and plants, peace be in all deities in world, peace be in supreme God, peace every where, peace, peace, peace.
Note : This is a prayer of peace where wish of peace is made on universe level.
Such is the level of thinking of Indian culture. In above all lines/shlokas no where any thing is said in context to India only, rather everything is said for the whole humanity, whole world, whole life and whole universe. This makes them very selfless. This is the height of Indian culture and Hinduism which is so inclusive by nature.
